Strongyloides stercoralis

Strongyloides stercoralisは、糞線虫属に属する線虫です。

Strongyloides stercoralisは、糞線虫症の原因となります。この感染症は、皮膚、肺、腸に影響を及ぼす症状を引き起こす可能性があります。症状は次のとおりです。

  • 掻痒（かゆみ）

  • 蕁麻疹

  • 皮膚幼虫移行症候群

  • 肺炎

  • 慢性気管支炎

  • 腸炎

線虫は土壌中や寄生虫として生息します。熱帯および亜熱帯の温暖で湿潤な地域に生息します。約8,000万人が感染していると推定されています。西ヨーロッパでは、トンネル建設現場や採鉱場などの暖かい場所以外では、まれにしか確認されていません。

感染経路

Strongyloides stercoralisは、経皮感染、糞口感染、接触感染、および汚染された食品や水を介して伝播されます。
